Gorgeous and Functional

I'm an engineer. I love things that are functional, and tend to shy away from things that are just "glitzy" without purpose. I don't have flashing multicolored lights inside of my computer, or complicated and awkward cases for things, or so on.I have a nice set of headphones, which I have had to either return to their (very nice) carrying case, or leave sitting on a tabletop, until now. I've been thinking about getting a stand or support of some kind for them, but kept finding things with a variety of "gimmicks" and so forth, all of which seemed like they'd get knocked over with a minor bump. So, seeing this, I like what I saw, a lot. It's pretty much just solid aluminum, with a quality finish and a stable, sturdy base. No lights, no charging equipment, no funky graphics, nothing extraneous at all. Just a solid piece of metal. Minimalist, yet classy.I received it yesterday and immediately put it to use. And I can't see NOT using it for the foreseeable future. Its a matter of style and taste, and everyone's taste is different, but this is MY taste. If you want bells and whistles and flashing lights, this isn't for you. If you want a sturdy, attractive, professional-looking stand for your headphone. this definitely is. Just that. Nothing more, nothing less.
