I'm just a home mechanic but I've been working on a couple of old cars and recently added them to my toolbox. These are hex heads with a spherical end. , so I wouldn't use them for seriously tacky mounts. However, they certainly save for hard-to-reach places. What I like about them: They have fairly strong 3/8" plastic pins with a retaining ball and spring, just like a regular 3/8" ratchet. Most other similar products that come on a pole either only have square pins with no locking so the sockets fall out, or disposable pins that are just there to display the product. Snaps precisely into the clasp and won't fall out if moved at an awkward angle. And the sockets are pretty well made like my experience with most other gear wrench products. Time will tell if the hex shanks will come loose from the chrome part of the screwdriver, as has happened with most of my previous hex screwdrivers, but they seem to be sturdier than the others I have.
