I liked the idea of this item so much I bought 3 for every tub in the house. I had to send it back, unfortunately it's poorly made (the plastic is too thin to hold it together with a simple squeeze) and the included o-ring is barely large enough to make it versatile. others have to buy more O-rings until they find one that fits their bathtub. If you can find an o-ring that's tight enough so the tub doesn't drain slowly, it will fall apart every time you take it out of the tub. If yours doesn't disassemble, it's not good enough to prevent your tub from draining. So your choices are: A) a tub that slowly empties itself, ORB) a cork that falls apart every time you take it off. In addition, it relies on a small spring to keep the o-ring stopper firmly attached to the tub to stop the water. If it falls apart, that spring will go everywhere and you'll have to find it before you can put the stopper back together. If the source ends up in your sewer, you can discard the item, it will no longer work. I would advise everyone to avoid headaches and waste of time and stay away from this topic.
