I'm not one to write reviews but I couldn't resist. I suffer from severe scoliosis which results in multiple pinched nerves and disc issues. I also suffer from a thyroid problem which makes it difficult for me to regulate my body temperature. After weeks of back and forth between different mattress pads, I settled on this one based on the advertised "cooling effect", "breathable construction" and "pressure relief". Well, this product didn't live up to what it promised. You sink into this topper so quickly and unevenly that your spine is not properly supported at all. Plus, it traps all the heat and actually seems to radiate it back to your body. So much so that I would wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat every night. Also, the "bounce back" takes so long that you can't turn around because you'll just fall back into the hole you were in before. On the other hand, I think my dog loves it. I put it in the spare room and finally put down some extra money for a Casper mattress :/
