I have flown many commercial aircraft and a few times my beloved Cessna Cardinal to Oshkosh. Plastic hoses with sticky goo always leak due to pressure drop or get crushed to death. They are perfectly airtight if you make sure the silicone is on top when you unscrew the cap. Because they're made of silicone and have a fairly wide opening, they don't absorb odors and are exceptionally easy to clean. 2 ounces of shampoo and lotion equates to a supply of approximately 2 weeks. SO decided to clean the pipes and pack up the booze for the 8 hour plane ride. Alcohol doesn't taste like shampoo! Bought 2 by mistake. Now I'm glad I did!
