First of all, it took me almost 1 hour to figure out how to slide the fins and I failed. My husband helped set up this after work and took 15 minutes. The instructions are very detailed with pictures but the "Pin” part is not clear enough.The ride on itself is pretty well made. It seems fit kids around 3 to 5 year old. It is not high enough to fit older kids.The four big tires are hard plastic, with a rubber strip, around 1 inch, down the middle of all four tires. It had solid grip on cement and hard dirt as well as some solid grass spots.The ride on travels forward up to 3 mph and reverse up to 2.5 mph. The battery was not as long as I expected. We had a 12v two seats ride on and we used it in our community and never got the battery fully run out. But this ride one was out within 1 hour after the 24 hours first charging.
