I needed a good pair of skateboards, something that reminded me of my old school days growing up skating. the early 90's are no slimmer shoes than today's figure skating era. These shoes have a great "inner sock" that provides support and cushioning, the air system feels good - the only other shoes I've used have been eS Kostons, the shoe design is good and offers adequate protection from board tricks! great shoes for the price. I usually wear a size 11 but went for a 11.5 and I'm glad I did, they fit perfectly. So you can order half a size larger - worked for me.
