Review on First MFG Co Maverick Motorcycle by Joe Gosa

The jacket came in a very used and dirty plastic bag with no hangers. It looks like he's seen a few transits back and forth and I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to get this jacket. I doubt the jacket I received was brand new. I immediately noticed a skipped seam on the outside of the chest seam on the left arm (see image) and when I unbuttoned the lining and examined the mesh lining in the sleeves, there was a large area that looked like it had never been sewn on. with (see other picture) in the right sleeve. This particular model of jacket is "Maverick" according to the First MFG Co. website. This is one of two plus size leather jackets they offer, the other being the "mastermind". Both are available in any color as long as you only like black. According to the label inside the jacket, made in Pakistan. It has pockets to protect the back, shoulders and elbows. I wonder how strong they will stay in place if I ever put the bike down if the mesh lining on the inside moves a bit. I suppose if the skin could withstand the closure then everything would be fine. The skin is fortunately quite thick, but very soft and cuddly. It is not brittle on the outside like some cheaply treated leather. It's thicker than most leather jackets I've seen in clothing stores and for the most part the construction is very well done. I'm very tall and finding a long jacket from most manufacturers also means "LARGE" as it's easier to just make them. a tent sized item that fits tall and tall, not one item for everyone. The height is the right size if you are just tall and not tall. Folded shoulders are great because you can reach forward without pulling your jacket over your shoulders or pulling your sleeves up to your elbows. A nice touch, especially when so few high-profile manufacturers actually lengthen the sleeves accordingly. The sizing seems to be about a size smaller, although I usually only need a 2XL Tall. You may need to order a size up, especially if you plan to leave the lining in place or wear multiple layers other than the t-shirt. My tip: Be sure to check every seam inside and outside as well as the end of the leather. on cuffs and collar. I returned mine and unfortunately the seller on the market didn't have another jacket to substitute and ended up having to order directly from the First MFG Co Revain store who had a much slower delivery time (7 days vs 2). Luckily shipping was still free but there were no longer any free returns direct from First MFG Co. Hopefully I don't have to send it back again because of a defect and struggle with the 20% restocking fee. ::shake fist::
