I bought this bag for my daughter's 17 inch Dell Inspiron laptop. It's very well made, good quality, definitely shockproof and waterproof, but it's not a suitcase, it's definitely a suitcase, and there's a big difference between a suitcase and a suitcase. I was looking for a 17 inch laptop sleeve that would fit in her 20 inch book bag and this thing is 21 inches if not bigger. Don't get me wrong it's a very well made bag but I need a bag to put her laptop in so she can put it in her book bag at school and it doesn't fit in her backpack. I mean it's too big and too bulky. I was definitely disappointed as you know it is sold as a case and not a suitcase. But the seller was very cool about the return process, they refunded my money and said I'm not even worried about sending it back to them, that I would send it back to them in full because, as I said, it is very big, i can zip it up and i can move the laptop from side to side, that's how spacious and big this thing is. I'm looking for a nice snug sleeve for her laptop that fits in her book bag but it just isn't right but I'm giving it five stars because the damn thing was superbly made and impact and water resistant. , that was all that was said, it's just not a case it's a case and it's definitely over 17 inches. Definitely a great bag if you're looking for a really good, secure laptop bag, but not if you're looking for a tote.
