They come in a very compact case with 14 blue (about 1/4 inch), 12 yellow (about 1/2 inch), 10 green (maybe 7/8 inch) and 12 pink (from 1, 25 and up). to 1.5" (I have 3 dozen 1" foam rollers from another purchase and the largest in this set is over 1"). The foam seems to be of better quality than other foam rollers I've tried and the latches are easy to use. I have medium length hair that probably comes down to the middle of my buttocks and I can easily style all of my hair in it with maybe half a dozen spares. or velcro/self-grip rollers and are MUCH easier to use and easier to sleep on than snap-on plastic rollers. In my experience, definitely not. Some people complain about dents. However, the ones below the hair shaft can usually be avoided by making sure you don't put too much hair on the barrette, and the ones on top can be remedied by smoothing them out with a brush (or straightener/other heat tool). for faster results). Pro tip: I had trouble using my other set of foam rollers to get my hair dry, curling all the hair MUCH faster, and then spraying it with a spray bottle. They may think that the hair won't get completely wet, but they try. The curls I got from them are very firm, well formed, long lasting (3rd day) and require a lot of brushing. I've never put products on my hair before and I didn't have to with these. If you take them out and look like Shirley Temple, no big deal, just comb through with a wide tooth comb and then smooth out with a boar bristle brush (I've found regular bristle brushes like paddle brushes don't work either). For blondes: I've found that if my hair is left to dry in curls after washing, the color looks dull, I don't know why. I recommend letting your hair dry, then dampening it and curling your hair OR, my preferred method, curling your entire head and then spritzing it with a spray bottle. TL; DR: If you want that look, they're perfect.
