Review on GOOFIT Universal Motorcycle Hydraulic Reservoir by Cary Clemons

Complete bullshit, life-threatening quality defects

Honestly, these things are absolute junk. Lots of quality control issues, poor fit, none of the cylinder internals on the brakes or clutch have been machined, all the seals are poor quality plastic or rubber, it's a good way to kill yourself. I received this set for Christmas and have about 20 hours of work to get it safe and working. O-rings broke, seals failed, there was bits of metal in every part except the hydraulic line, the master cylinder sent a piece of metal into my calipers causing my front brakes to stick, if there was gravel anywhere around I was definitely going to crash. I have years of experience with mechanics and even for me, making them safe and reliable has been a challenge. So far I've ground both the master cylinder and the clutch slave with a brake honing tool, then I've polished both cylinders and slaves to a high gloss. , replaced all o-rings and gaskets with good quality American made ones, replaced the hydraulic line because it was starting to disintegrate and sent bits of plastic and rubber all over the hydraulic system, both switches were already out of service and they were nothing short of a nightmare with since i received them. I finally got them fixed yesterday and they feel fantastic but to be honest I'm glad I survived the tests and I'm lucky to have the tools and parts needed to keep them safe and make it protected. If you don't like messing around, have a massive amount of tools and supplies and are willing to risk your life to make them work, then go for it! Be an idiot like me and try them.
