Look elsewhere for wireless lights

I'll update if warranted but don't buy these lights just yet. We longed to have the five of us together in our living room and so far it has been a nightmare. They worked for the first 5 minutes when they were added, but quickly went wrong after that. I spent about 4 hours adding light again and nothing worked. You are and everything is fine with the Internet. Just poor quality and technology of these lights. Basically, if you have a problem with 1 light source, which is almost guaranteed, you basically have to reconfigure everything one by one. Just terrible technology. Over the past 12 months I've added all Nest products (locks, cameras, etc.) and other common wireless features throughout the house. These lights are by far the worst I've added. The caveat is that my router is on a different floor but I have a boost in the room and other products are working in the room with no issues. Big disappointment but wanted to share based on the few reviews posted so far. I'll update as needed, but it's very difficult to add and sync them with each other anyway. They are really very bright. Update: still can't connect all 5 lights. Apparently my mistake was assuming they could be controlled with a switch. They are, but they're definitely not designed for it. Once I synced them up, I never had to turn off the light switch. You have to keep going all the time. I wanted an option for guests who don't have an app. But what to do if the power goes out? Resync each time? No thank you. I heard TP Link lights are good so I might give it a try. This is the biggest buying mistake we've made for our home. Generally not cost much but too much headache.
