first from China. So the quality will be cheap. Mind you, it's cheap. It comes with combs, clips etc so it's a worth buying for the price you pay. but the accessories are not very good. It will break after a few uses so be careful. I took everything out to examine each piece. the scissors are already discolored at the tip. even a pair of thin scissors. This is not Japanese stainless steel. This description is wrong! change it! If you are a man with thumbs, remember this will be cozy. very cozy. This is great for women or men with thin fingers, but if you have fairly large hands you will struggle and/or feel uncomfortable after prolonged use. Sharpness and ease of scissors I do not know. I'll find out in a few days when I cut my hair. but I don't expect Edward's hands to be cut with scissors. ***The photos I've attached to this review don't show the discolored tips like I thought, but if you see or inspect your pair when you arrive, take a look at the tips and hardware on your scissors. They are discolored and you will see that it is clearly visible. UPDATE: Transparent sets don't work. doesn't cut like it should. regular stationery scissors are better.
