To test this sensor I used the sample code from the Adafruit library. It was easy to connect and worked right out of the gate. There are multiple sensor ranges to choose from depending on whether you want higher G range or higher sensitivity. attached video with sensitive setting. I found it very responsive, I look forward to trying it in a real application.
