Great CAN Receiver for Robotics

This CAN receiver is a lifesaver for any robotics project that requires high-speed serial communication. Its ability to handle Industrial and Scientific applications is impressive, making it a great investment. The easy-to-read LED indicators and compact size make it a breeze to operate and install. The only downside is that it requires an additional TJA1050 Transceiver chip for full functionality. Despite this, it remains a reliable and valuable addition to any robot hobbyists' tool kit.

Pros
  • Easy to use and integrate with Arduino projects.
Cons
  • Requires programming knowledge to fully utilize its capabilities.

Works well with a small mod for Esp32

Cut the leader line at the bottom. Solder the wire to the resistor. I could use this with a 3.3v ESP32 as long as I had 5v power and 3.3v on the extra wire!

Pros
  • 5V DC power supply module, SPI interface protocol control.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Bring IoT to your car

The modules were sent quickly. They were in perfect condition. HiLetGo sent out emails to see if I had any installation questions. My first step was to connect the two in a master/slave transmit/receive system. I'm sorry that not all cables are properly connected, but it works. I'm using two NodeMCUs, each equipped with an OLED module (via I2C). I used the CAN-BUS Shield library and Blink transmit/receive sketches. modified to use OLED modules. Some of you may be wondering how I connected…

Pros
  • Supports CAN V2.0B specification, 1Mbps communication speed.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
