I followed the instructions exactly. I watched the YouTube video of Dr. Watched Tim at least three times to see if I missed any small details. My 8 year old son and I were so excited to get his first aquarium! We waited and waited and waited. Ammonia decreased as expected, but nitrite did not decrease. I mean never. Because of this, I couldn't add any more ammonia. So I decided to go the other way. A month and a half after adding One and Only, I took one of my wife's nylon stockings, added some gravel from an established tank, poured it into the new tank and voila! After 24 hours the nitrites were at zero. The moral of the story is that I really don't think there is such a thing as "magic in a bottle" for starting an aquarium. I feel really stupid buying this product
