This soap is a nice evolution of the Viking Revolution shaving cream I used. I've never been able to get consistent lather with it. But for me they are always the same. To keep my more expensive brush from getting lost or stolen, I took a badger hair brush with me on the trip in case something happened. The scents are pleasant but not overpowering. With a stiffer brush, a foam of the desired consistency forms quickly, not too thick and not runny. I am planning to buy another set and use it for travel as I fly quite often. I wish they would offer each individually or sell a container to store after use.
