Review on πŸš— IRONTEK Amber Lens Driving Fog Lights Assembly for Chevy Silverado 1500 & 2500 (99-02), Silverado 3500 (00-02), Suburban (00-06) & Tahoe (00-06) - 1 Pair by Chp Rodgers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Also installed on Silverado 2000 with the following modifications

These headlights (yellow) were easy to install in the existing holes behind the bumper. They are not very bright, just bought new bulbs. The modifications required are simple, but make a world of difference in adjustability. The adjustment screw goes through a "fork" or slot before going through the bottom hole. The grove in this slot is not deep enough to lift the light high enough to be effective. The solution is to 1. use a 1/4 drill bit and enlarge the bottom hole. 2 Use the same drill bit, file, or Dremel to make the groove 1/8" to 1/4" deeper. This prevents the long screw from getting stuck in the slot and allowing the headlights to be adjusted upwards. Also place 1/4 inch washers on either side of the spring to add a flat surface for the spring and add some spring tension. After all that, the light is adjustable and works well. Also buy upgraded lightbulbs. I lengthened the truck mounted headlight slot but it would have been easier to do this before installation.
