Review on Dell S3422DW Built Grey Grey 3440X1440P Monitor: 100Hz, Tilt & Height Adjustment, Anti Glare Screen - S3422DW - 70VD6 by Haveuheard Crawford

Preliminary: I bought it new but in a damaged packaging, so I got it at a big discount, so I won't be returning it. All in all this is a fantastic monitor and I have no regrets buying it (again at a reduced price). However, there are also disadvantages. There are two DESIGN DEFECTS that can be identified here, as follows: 1. The speakers emit a high-pitched howl or mid-frequency electrical hum intermittently throughout the day. The ONLY way to get rid of this is to turn the monitor volume all the way up (e.g. to zero). Even on "1" you will hear it. I went online and found out that this is specific to the model and not the specific monitor I received.2. The menu buttons on the bottom of the monitor are poorly placed and difficult to press/operate (except for the power button). Accessing the menus takes a lot of effort to activate, and since they're on the outer edge of the monitor, the entire monitor tilts every time. Since I have connected two computers with a cable, I often switch back and forth and I tell you that it is tedious and difficult to reach the menu item required for this. Apart from these two problems I am very satisfied. And since I got it at a reduced price, I'm keeping it to myself. But if I had to do it again I would probably look for and buy another brand/model.
