Make sure it's installed the right way
First I put it the wrong way and it didn't tighten. Finally figured out the problem and flipped it the other way and it puffed fine. I got this particular design because of the versatility of mounting it on a cold shoe or thread on a tripod head or light stand with a 1/4-20 screw. Well made and durable product.
