My friend works in landscaping and has a habit of sticking his butt everywhere. It killed my nose - when I put my head on it on the couch the musty smell of cigarettes was so awful it gave me a headache, and I used to be a smoker! Not to mention the handful of nicotine and cigarette butts when I emptied his pockets to do laundry, or worse, when I forgot to empty my pockets and found them all over the washer and dryer. I received these and asked him to use them. He hesitated a bit - he didn't want to spend too much time at work carrying them in and out of his pocket and didn't think they would work very well. THEY ARE AMAZING! They completely absorb the smell and do not cause him any particular inconvenience. I can put my head in his lap on the couch with these in his pocket full of cigarette butts and I can't smell anything. Though he usually takes them out of his pocket as soon as he gets home, he says they get a little uncomfortable when they start to fill up. I'm pretty sure he snuffs out the cigarette butts before putting them in, but it's been a month now. now they were not even lit. They let him work all day and hold around 12-15 cigarette butts. He thinks a whole pack could fit in one of these, but says after about 15 cigarette butts it's too long to stuff any more while he's trying to do something on the clock. They are simply thrown in the trash can. Allowed to. I even washed them in the sink with just water and paper towels the other day. I stuffed a bunch of paper towels in and let them dry overnight and they're almost as clean as the first day we got them. Fantastic product.
