I didn't see in the description of the coffee machine that it has a pre-brewing function, but it is. This is a one button machine so none of the settings can be changed. The only setting is to press and hold the button for 5 seconds to enter the pre-infuse function. Deactivating the button again or holding the button for 5 seconds will deactivate the pre-infuse function. The button is a momentary action, once pressed it will return to its original position. This saves you from having to remember to turn it off. The only feature mentioned that is inaccurate is the 120-minute warm-up time before it automatically turns off. It only switches off after 60 minutes. If you want your coffee to stay warm for more than 1 hour, after turning it off, you can simply press the button again and the heating plate will turn on for another hour. You can also turn it off and on again and it will warm up for another hour without waiting for it to turn off. It works well and appears to be well made. It cannot be handled by hand, but after 2 months of careful use, there was no sign of quality problems. I love the pre-brew feature and keep the filter basket lid open while brewing so I can stir the grounds while brewing and brewing.
