Review on 🚨 Abrams Ultra Series 36W Dual Color LED Strobe Warning Light – 12 LED Amber/Blue – SAE Class-1 Rated – Truck Emergency Vehicle Grille Mount – 69+ Patterns by Meechie Camlin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost SAE Class 1. Strange shade of blue

These headlights are ideal for those who don't need them for low powered professional vehicles and can even be considered great ADDITIONAL lighting for vehicles fitted with older Code3 -Lighting fixtures are fitted. (explained in next part) but not ideal as a general warning and/or for users of Cantrol, BluePrint, Matrix etc controllers. They are also in SAE Class 1 "little bit". While Whelen, Fed Sig, Fenex, etc. definitely outperform it. The most difficult problem concerns the shade of blue. It does not match any other Abrams flashlight, nor any other SAE Class 1 professional flashlight. It is a darker shade very similar to Xprite's blue illumination. So for a volunteer looking for a variety of lights this is a good buy. But with professional equipment, the price does not outweigh the result. *Also, both Star and Code3 produce tri-color products with superior performance (in fact Code3 are almost identical in shape/size). However, they both cost the same, and even Fenex now offers a four-color surface mount light that costs about $10 more. I would rate them 7/10 (better than STL and Lamphus but not quite on par with Whelen, Feniex, FedSig, Code3, SOS or Star. *** Other Abrams products like Flex3, 4, 6 and 12 Lights are GREAT bang for the buck - definitely competitive with the Big Boy Lights** I would also recommend the 600 and 800 lightsticks BUT for the price - you might as well buy the Feniex or Star versions.

Pros

Cons
  • Crumpled
