Bought for my grand-niece out of state so haven't seen it in person but got "she loves it!" from my niece yesterday. She said it's a bit big but that's ok, big is better than small. She is 8 years old. Tall and very slim. Bought 8-9. She will wash it and let me know if it shrinks at all. She said that it is very soft and looks very beautiful. By the way, I got a shark nightgown because she loves sharks!
