Review on SCITOO Mirrors 2003 2007 Silverado Adjusted by Jon Smith

These mirrors appear to be quite well made. Everything is fine on the driver's side, but there are a few issues with the passenger's side mirror. The first problem is that you cannot adjust the flat mirror far enough towards the car. Even with a full inward tilt, it shows the adjacent lane. Another problem is that the flat mirror on the passenger side is very bad at distorting and magnifying the view. I thought it was an issue with the one I received so I returned it and got another one which turned out to have the same issue. In order to tilt the mirror far enough, I had to put a couple of washers on the foremost mounting screw on the door, which tilted the entire mirror back a bit, leaving a gap. I installed them on a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500.
