While this balance is what you would expect from a typical lab balance - good sized platter, bright display, fast response time - even after calibration it is still not accurate enough. If I had to guess, while that's a 0.1g readability scale, it shows as 0.01g, the weight shifting each time something is added or removed. If I tare the scale to 0.00g, put something on it and then remove it, it should go back to 0.00g, but with this scale the weight just goes up out of nowhere, somewhere between 0.02g and 0.15 G. If you want high accuracy, you won't get it with this scale. Unfortunately, that is the purpose of the scale and I cannot recommend it. If you're on a budget you can bypass this, but I wouldn't recommend it.
