Works as expected - may not stay in place long
Backing is about half as thin as the previous anti-slip tape it replaced, but it worked as expected. I won't know its durability until I've ridden it for another 10 years. Update: The original install was done on a warm, sunny day. I used a heat gun to heat the wood before applying and then heat the top of the tape and go over it for better adhesion. Now (November, 6 months later) the slats are starting to peel off and are barely sticking to the wooden steps. I plan to use contact cement (after drying for a few days) to reattach the strips to the stairs.
