Currently used in the Midwest 130 playpen/cat house. Feral kittens chatting enjoy this hammock! Two kittens love to snuggle up in it together! It is very soft and easy to place in different parts of the cage. Only gripe is that the clasps are a bit small - they don't securely attach to double or larger diameter bars. This is not a problem when using the Midwest 130, but is a limitation when using the hammock in standard boxes. In standard boxes, this hammock offers kittens and cats a nicer (and preferred) place to sleep that is farther from the box. A standard temporary cage (used for a few days after spaying/neutering) is less crowded for them - food and water are placed under the hammock and the tray is placed on the opposite side of the cage. No more trash in the water or food from crowded, close quarters. I'm happier and so is she. The hammock is easy to wash and dry. I put it in my underwear bag and used a gentle cycle. All in all very recommendable. The heaviest weight I can confirm is a 6.5 lb kitten and a 3.5 lb kitten together in a hammock. No problem keeping it secure - the hammock fabric stretches a little but the clasps hold up well and the straps are secure.
