Review on Fit System RM1300 Aspheric Optical by Nick Moody

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Me, my wife and three children (over 15 years old) consider it a necessity.

Must have if you ask me. Pretty easy to use. It is held in place by a spring clip. With this mirror you have almost no blind spots (in Camry, Tundra, Prius, Tacoma). I also have a wide angle side mirror for added confidence. It is easy to manage and use with it. Never turn your head and take your eyes off the road. In the beginning the feeling is completely different. I suspect some people just see how much smaller cars are, and the wide angle can make it seem like you're looking into an aquarium, which distorts the view a bit. Give it 2 or 3 weeks and I think you will find the pros outweigh any cons. I don't use mine in the middle but rather on the left (driver's) side of the mirror. It's so wide that if you place it in the middle, the passenger won't be able to lower the visor. Depends on the layout of your vehicle. My daughter is small and just lowers the visors in her Scion XB. July 10, 2019, Just bought 3 more for family members. I'm glad they are still available. I had 2 breakdowns due to two plastic reeds breaking. It would be better if they were metal. It's easy to overlook that the side is the side with the feathers. The springs are fairly firm and require about 10 pounds of force. If you push the mirror the wrong way to remove the mirror, it will take about 11 pounds of force to break the plastic side. If both sides were metal you wouldn't be able to break either side. Attention don't forget :-).
