for many years. I started using these balls before games this summer. These foam tech balls go further than weighted balls but stay close when you've got two teams practicing in the outfield. I feel these balls give kids the ability to place balls cleanly on the field as opposed to heavy or small balls. Batsmen receive the same shot as a real ball, but with less distance for the ball to fly. Safety is always an issue, so there will be no pain or injury when hitting with these balls. Children like to hit them and even throw other players. The storage of these balls is also great, they return to their original shape within a few seconds if they are heavily impaled.
