Our ophthalmologist said he could not replace the worn and cracked ear tips on my son's frames, the frames are in excellent condition otherwise the lenses would not need to be changed this year. I swore I had seen them on the internet, although the eye center said they weren't. Of course I found them online and ordered them. They're a little tricky to hit, but I saw a tip online that helped a lot. You have to use some kind of lube. They suggested something with glycerin, like hand sanitizer. Apply some lube to the temple and use a toothpick to apply some lube to the end of the sleeve you are starting with. Once you put the end of the case on the frame, just gradually wrap it up. You can tell if it's going straight or sideways. The sleeve will look like you're about to rip it apart if it's not flat. Gradually adjust it until it turns on completely. My first sleeve was ready in a minute. The second sleeve went much easier and smoother after learning on the first. It's a good idea to order two packs of sleeves in case one of them tears when you put them on.
