I have found them very handy for downloading files and using them on different computers. With one of them I decided to start over and instead of deleting every recorded file I decided to just completely reformat them. Wrong move. I've received reports that the device cannot be set up or reconfigured for either Mac or Windows. (I haven't tried the Linux configuration.) So I tried to revive it in its original format, but that also failed. If anything, that meant I had what I thought was a good USB stick, which was in fact nothing more than an object ready to be thrown away. I wasn't stupid enough to erase the remaining drives so they're still usable and working really well, thanks.
