Easy assembly but then. not as good as i would like. The part that goes in the water tank is in 3 parts but it kept coming loose. The first time it disconnected from the pump so I could reconnect the hose from the tank to the pump. But later the bottom part came loose and I couldn't get it since each part is about 12 inches, so I gave it up. Also, you'll need lots of duct tape to wrap the neck of a 5 gallon water tank. Otherwise, it will be unreliable and there will be no suction power to pump out water. Overall very disappointed and had to send it back.
