After numerous bruised toes, bleeding feet and screaming babies waking up when my old shower caddy would constantly crash to the floor, I had enough.We have a Bath Fitter wall over a rotted shower. It is a rental and the landlord didn't want to put money into gutting the bathroom. Needless to say, the walls underneath are mushy and soft. I received an extra adhesive backing with the two shelves and adhesive backings. I cleaned the walls with isopropyl alcohol and let them dry.Word to the wise, KNOW YOUR LOCATION, HEIGHT, WIDTH AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL BE BANGING INTO IT (my bathroom is pathetically small) before you adhere! Once that adhesive is up, it's not going anywhere. You have to also lock the shelf into the hooks until you hear a click.I'm still very careful not to overload it but so far, it is sturdy and a lifesaver!
