I generally love pen-shaped lens cleaners. Even if I give my camera a thorough cleaning before embarking on a photo adventure in Montana and Wyoming, it's often windy and my lens is instantly covered in dust. I just take out the lens tip and it's clean in a minute. I don't use it with compact. I have a rebel t2i and like the small size that I can put in my pocket before I head out the door. Most of the time I choose a lens and travel light! This pen has a screw cap, which is great. I don't like the ones that get screwed up. It takes time and two hands! If only they invented a pen with a bulb instead of a brush. When there is fine dirt on the lens, the brush tends to move it from one area to another. In addition to washing, I also lose a lot of hats. I wish I had a discounted 100 pack otherwise they would sell a pen with 10 caps!
