Review on Terra Hiker Camping Cookware: Nonstick Pots, Pans & Mesh Bag - Lightweight Set for Backpacking, Hiking & Picnic Cooking by Tony Korek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lightweight and portable, with room for extra cookware or even a pocket rocket stove

What bothered me the most was whether or not the "non-stick" aspect was Teflon. I have confirmed to the manufacturer that the nonstick coating is an exceptionally smooth hard anodized coating on aluminum and now that I have received it I can confirm that there is no Teflon coating to burn or poison you if it overheats. It's surprisingly light and fits in a small pot along with enough room to fit a pocket rocket cooker and a few extras. Another issue I had was the grips. They appear to be some sort of plastic, but even though I put a small pot on my Whisperlite Universal, which is running at full blast and the flames curl a bit around the edges of the pot, I didn't melt the handles and they stayed cool enough comfortably keep. . I would argue that the handles could cause problems if you put it in or over a fire, but that's not what they were designed for anyway.
