I rarely write reviews. At this point I sit down for my first cup of coffee brewed on the 1Zpresso JX-Pro. March 2020 California at the height of the Covid19 lockdown. I've never dabbled in coffee but what can I do in isolation other than explore and learn new things. Over the past few weeks I've been brewing coffee, collecting beans, perfecting my pour over, finding/creating the perfect water, playing around with different filters and, yes, trying different coffee grinders. Long story short, after trying Porlex mini and Homeground Precision, I scratched my head and thought to myself, "I just don't get it. Why do people love coffee so much? I enjoy the high, but very rarely the taste itself. While I was honing my technique, researching and correcting many little things, I still didn't understand the general madness. until now. After my first sip this morning, the clouds parted and I saw what coffee can really be. The grind itself looked great before brewing. and the first sip was simply delicious; smooth, fragrant, oily but not heavy. Although I used the same beans as the last few days with different grinders, this coffee was much better thanks to 1Zpresso. 1Zpresso, thank you for making such a great product and helping me finally get it. Finally hello and thanks to coffeechronicler.com for pointing me in the right direction. Good luck and happy brewing.
