They are a little tight under the armpits and shoulders, so they seem a little small, even though they are the same size as some of the old Hanes crew-neck shirts , that I have. it seems much more convenient. Also, the V-neckline is high (fits snugly at the front of the neck) and is therefore visible when wearing a shirt over it (with the top button undone), which is how I wanted to use them. That's why I bought the V-neck (so it's not visible), so a waste of money for me. Update 4/3/17: I bought these t-shirts to wear under my shirt in winter. The new Hanes "Nano" cotton t-shirts almost seem like Velcro compared to the old non-Nano Hane t-shirts I had. Wearing a shirt over these new tees is a test at best. The shirt fabric wants to snuggle up to the fabric of the dress shirt. Sweater-style shirts are the most difficult to combine and feel comfortable together. My non-Nano Hanes T are pretty soft and don't snag. They end up being more comfortable to wear if you wear another shirt over them.
