4.5 stars. An improvement over the previous model, but still some things could be improved. It can be difficult to plug a cable into a USB port, you need to be perfectly aligned or forget it. There's still nothing holding the cord in place, so a slight tug can pull it to the point where it stops working (usually without you knowing). This is the best interview microphone you can get for an iPhone right now. I use it to conduct interviews recorded with native video software on iPhone 8s and iPhone X.
