Review on 💨 Enhance Performance and Extend Lifespan with 80mm USB Cooling Fan for AV Receiver DVR Playstation/TV Box/Game Console by Matt Kovacevic

I've been looking for this solution for a long time. We all have audio/video devices, game consoles, DVRs and other similar devices that shouldn't be left indoors because they need to cool their electronic components, right? So why are most media centers equipped with closed shelves and showcases? I digress, however; The thing is, these USB powered fans are a great idea. I installed them in the back of the compartment where we keep the DVR and kids Xbox. Fans connect to the DVR's USB port and run continuously. My holes in the back are a bit rough at the moment but they will eventually become just part of the furniture and hopefully go unnoticed. They don't make any audible noise, so that's not even a problem, and they move enough air that opening the cabinet doesn't immediately blow hot air. Finally, the built-in slider has three settings, but I find the difference between high and medium negligible. However, low settings are very quiet and move about half the air compared to high settings. As you can see in my little breadboard experiment these fans can even stand upright on their own and I almost forgot to mention that the suction cups work pretty well but only on very smooth surfaces of course.
