This light is bright enough, but when I'm working on my laptop in the dark, the length of the object is so small that my hand casts a shadow on the keyboard. I have to move my hand away from the keyboard to see the keys. It should be longer so that it shines on the keyboard from above and not from the side. As for the quality. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but one of the three lights was upside down, meaning that when connected to USB, the light shone away from the keyboard from either side of the laptop. I tried rotating the flexible arm but it is too short and it returns to the same position. I think this could be a good night light.
