This round stainless steel desk trash can is adorable. It's well made with solid steel walls that are thick enough to be strong without making the can heavy. It is designed to be used repeatedly for years. An added benefit is that the jar is only slightly taller than square tissue boxes while taking up slightly less space. Now my glass is on my desk. It accepts my discarded seed trays, napkins, notes, wrappers, bottle caps and more. I have a mischievous little dog who loves picking up my trash. All the little things he wants to steal are now thrown into a small locked trash can. That stops the mess he's making thinking he's going to find a free snack. To keep the bin clean and easy to dispose of the trash, I use small dog poop bags to line the bin. (Big messes still end up in the trash can under my desk.) On disposal day, I dump the contents of the small bin into the large bin, take them out, and set them up again. Especially with the PUSH, fingerprints remain on the tank. Lid. A damp cloth will help keep it clean. Desktop trash cans are generally very useful. I have it on almost every workstation I own. One by the kitchen sink, one by the sink, one by my desk, one by my bed, and one by my craft table. I still keep at least one decently sized trash can in every room, but the addition of desktop trash cans makes life a little cleaner and easier. However, the GET stainless steel can wins the award as the most beautiful and strongest. (Also the most expensive, so I'm only keeping one for now.) With its cute metal look and sturdy construction, the GET desktop trash can is a winner in my book. Five stars for overall functionality, workmanship and practicality. Four stars for the price.
