So I only wanted a lightweight blanket. And it is definitely that. Keeps me warm the way I need to be kept warm. It doesn't shed I have washed it once so far and I was so surprised that I couldn't find a single shedding anywhere. So I'm very happy for that. It's really cool looking and feels awesome.The only reason I gave it three stars is the balls are coming off really easy. I had one come off on the second day, before I ever even washed it. I then washed it on the 5th day and now I'm on probably the 30th day of use and I've lost another. interestingly I really don't use it a lot It sits down at the bottom of my bed and only pull it up to put on my shoulders from time to time.Something else really interesting but I'm not factoring this in on my rating, I just wanted to share. My cat who always sleeps with me refuses to come near me when I have this blanket on me. when I have it laid out on the bed he won't walk on it whatsoever. I've tried putting his treat right in the middle of it, and he refuses to step on it lol. I think it feels too much like an animal to him or something. It's too soft . Maybe?and no, he doesn't play with the tassels or the balls or anything like that he's not a playful kitty he's quite elderly. So I wouldn't buy this item again due to the fact the main reason I bought it is for the cool looking balls that dangle off it. I have a feeling I'll have none left in about 6 months.
