The quality of the material is normal. Seems a little thicker than a regular t-shirt, which is fine, but not as thick as a sweatshirt. Turns out a little smaller and will also shrink. I bought the large because I thought it might be too big for me or too roomy; but it just fitted and then it settled when I washed it (cold, low dry). It still fits the torso but the sleeves are short and I don't have long arms and I usually have the opposite problem with sleeves that are too long. Attention buyers. Since it has only been owned for a year and has only been worn a few times, it has a hole in it.
