TLDR; If you are a "Smart Life" user, you need these plugs. Best price, reliable design, easy setup. I was in no hurry to jump into home automation. I have several Wemo forks but their software sucks and I looked for a better experience with another manufacturer before committing. I've found that many Chinese manufacturers (for better or for worse) use the universal "Smart Life" app, which I find intuitive, flexible, and modern. Easy to use and set up. I bought my first smart lightbulbs this year and they work with the Smart Life app. After this experience and the fact that there are several manufacturers with integrated devices, I am fully in this ecosystem. The app works great on both iOS and Android, along with Google Home and Alexa integration. The hardware, including these forks here, is great value and well made. Now I will always look for devices that work with Smart Life app before buying.
