This shoe is well made. I like that there are many options. The velcro is built in so it can't be ripped off at the base, and it's relatively thick so it doesn't end up twisting. There is only one velcro on the strap part so it doesn't stick to other parts of the shoe when you unfasten it to put it on. My only complaint is that you can't loosen the strap more than about an inch, which isn't great for wide feet or kids with weak arm strength. You may have to break it again before it can be put on easily. The shoes are stiff for my taste but my kid loves them and doesn't complain that they are stiff. The design is fun and looks good. Overall we are very happy with this shoe.
