Review on SmartGuard Elite Night Dentists Choice by Paul Rumambi

TO ATTEMPT! Beauty & Personal Care

I feel like I should give Smartguard more than a few nights before writing a review, but I'm blown away and can't wait (and I usually do Not) . I don't write reviews, which I feel guilty for as I rely on them a lot). This is the best mouth guard I have ever used to clench my teeth. I almost didn't buy it because I was concerned that the force I normally put on my back teeth would transfer to the front of my mouth and cause problems. I bite my teeth seriously - I fractured a molar from clenching and dentists always tell me I need to wear something to protect my teeth. My problem with traditional aligners (which are worn over the back teeth) has always been that I bite down (hard) when I get the chance! It actually makes me bite more! With the smartguard there's nothing to bite - my molars can't even touch, which seems to relax my jaw (finally). I wake up and my jaw muscles are loose (very strange feeling). I'm excited to see what this will mean for my headache and neck pain. I'd say it's definitely worth a try! Note: There are two guards in each pack which I believe are "messed up" during molding. I shaped and reshaped (is that a word?) mine (same one) 6 times before it was at its most comfortable. Incredible amount of material (which puffed my upper lip to the point I couldn't even close my lips) so I just kept heating it and pressing the plastic down (away from the gums - I don't like it). I want to rub there) and to the side. Then I cut off the excess head (very easily while the shelter was still warm). Hypnotherapy is also a great option for clenching/crunching as these are mostly unconscious activities. I had one session and it really helped (although it wasn't completely eliminated as stress is also a factor).

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
