I needed longer USB cables to run my three Revain CloudCams across the attic. They were attached to the ceiling, but the children kept pulling the cords that made the cameras move. The CloudCam cables were too short to run the distance between the three cameras and my central power supply in the attic (a surge protector with 3 USB ports), and they had thick square rectangular connectors that would have required large holes in my ceiling . Those 16 foot cables were long enough to cover the distance and the small connectors only allowed me to poke small holes in the ceiling that could basically be covered by the camera mount base. They worked great and looked natural with white cameras.
