Review on 🐱 Ultimate Comfort and Entertainment for Your Feline: Petlinks Floor Cat Scratchers by Jennifer Collins

Works great for my use

As another person mentioned, the seaweed portion of this scraper is attached with velcro. This is very unfortunate (and why this product didn't get the full five stars) but I was fully aware of this when I bought these scrapers (a little hot glue would SIMPLY fix that). Also, this scraper is similar to other ramp type scrapers. The wood is solid, the texture is enticing (at least to my cat). He IMMEDIATELY chose to go without adding catnip (the catnip was placed in a catnip container for later use). I bought these to place around my bed to protect it from kittens who think the box spring is a big scratching post. I lay them on their side and put one around the corner of the quill and it works great. The shape allows lying kittens to scratch them (Foh lies on its side and uses the scratching post as if she and he were standing normally) without falling off (as opposed to a simple board). and they have no problem (even with velcro) withstanding his scratches. The velcro is strong enough to keep the comb on the tree that way too (I think they would be even more effective standing up than on the sides). For a style of scraper you can't beat the price (I couldn't find a cheaper one to be honest) and if velcro bothers you it's easy and cheap to fix if you have hot glue or something. Gorilla or superglue in the house. I bought two and they successfully protect a good portion of my box spring (for some reason cats only really like one corner (thanks Universe. It would be expensive to level the entire box spring with scrapers!)) with no problems.
