Sassy's paws are the size of bear claws and she was using my furniture as a scratching post until we bought her these Petlink Dream Curls. I had other scratching posts, I built a giant scratching post with top and bottom bases and toy attachments. She has never used any of them. I also coated them with catnip. Nada. We bought her this and added some Silver Vine (like catnip). She's using it in place of my furniture now. Now I could replace the furniture. Yes :)

I love this product. The sisal is of good quality and the board feels solid. The bottom is light. The only reason the stars are so low is, that it took less than an hour mine sisal pulled it out almost immediately and wasn't particularly rough but it's fixed it's not fixed very well it will probably work fine but I don't have high hopes for durability, and sisal it can not be replaced after wear.

I have tall scratching posts with a wide base, trees and cheap cardboard rectangles that you throw on the ground. Decided to give it a try as it is more visually appealing than cardboard and theoretically lasts longer. While durable, cheap with sisal and should have more sisal, not just on the bottom. The design is good. Beautiful and strong. And my cat likes part of the carpet. After I unpacked it and put it on the floor for my kids, they were everywhere! They even take naps against it! As another person mentioned, the seaweed portion of this scraper is attached with velcro. This is very unfortunate (and why this product didn't get the full five stars) but I was fully aware of this when I bought these scrapers (a little hot glue would SIMPLY fix that).
